Blue Earth — Thilmer O. Silrum, age 94, of Blue Earth, died Nov. 28, 2008, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Funeral services were held Dec. 1, 2008, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth. Rev. Karl Rydholm officiated. Burial was in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, rural Frost. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Jan. 21, 1914, in Bricelyn, the son of Ole and Elizabeth (Gronfor) Silrum.

Thilmer is survived by his wife, Mavis Silrum of Blue Earth, his daughter, Karen (Arlyn) Klatt of Blue Earth, his sister, Esther Hanson of Blue Earth, his brothers, Jorgen (Ruth) Silrum of Albert Lea and Edwin (Marie) Silrum of Eagan.
