Winnebago — Gladys T. Wegenast, age 94, of Winnebago, died Jan. 2, 2009, at Parker-Oaks, Winnebago.

Funeral services were held Jan. 7, 2009, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago. Rev. Dale Kohrs officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Winnebago.

Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Dec. 23, 1914, at Amboy, the daughter of John and Signa (Torgerson) Olson.

She is survived by her son Robert Evans of Des Moines, Iowa, daughters Janet (Richard) Rose of Amboy, Janice Sohn of Blue Earth, Mary Jo (Gene) Zumwalt of Minneapolis and step-daughter Rosalie (Edward) Soronen of Eagan; sister Lilly Allen of Blue Earth and sisters-in-law Elaine Olson of Blue Earth and Rosmary (Olson) Rogers of Albuquerque, N.M.
