Cyndi Winter, 44

Buffalo Center, Iowa — Cyndi Winter, age 44, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, departed from this life on April 3, 2009, peacefully at her home after a long battle with melanoma.

Her funeral ceremony was held April 9, 2009, at the First Reformed Church in Buffalo Center. Rev. William Peake officiated. Burial was in Olena Mound Cemetery in Buffalo Center. Winter Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.

Her memory will always be cherished by her husband Kirk, daughter Samantha, and son Alex. Also by her dad and mom Mike and Bonnie Jellinek of St. Paul; her father and mother-in-law George and Evelyn Winter of Buffalo Center; brothers/sisters-in-law Randy and Laura Winter of Forest City and Bart and Medara Winter of Lake Mills; as well as her nieces Natalie, Rebbie and Kessa, nephews Kyle and Tyler, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many-many dear friends.

Cyndi was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and by a very special aunt Josie Burdash.
