Leona I. Drew, 83

Blue Earth — Leona I. Drew, age 83, of Blue Earth, formerly of Swea City, Iowa, died April 17, 2009, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Funeral services were held April 20, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City. Rev. Rusty Bailey officiated. Burial was in Swan Lake Township Cemetery, rural Estherville, Iowa. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy are preferred in the form of donations to Moonlight Lane at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center.

Leona was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Emmet County, Iowa, the daughter of William and Josie (Hanson) Bryan.

Leona is survived by her daughters, Jacque Drew of Blue Earth and Jill (Bill) Rotterman of Elmore, and her sister Mary Saul of Jefferson, Iowa.
