Marlin Vincent Lium, 75

Bricelyn — Marlin Vincent Lium, age 75, of Bricelyn, died April 22, 2009, at the Fairmont Medical Center. A Memorial Service is being held today, April 27, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, Iowa. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Carlton Shaw is officiating and burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn handled the arrangements.

Marlin V. Lium was born Oct. 31, 1933, the son of Melvin and Violet (Brigger) Lium in Seely Township, Faribault County.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lium of Bricelyn; five children: Brian (DeAnn) Lium of Bancroft, Iowa, Laurie Thilges of Shakopee, Deb (John) Graham of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Eric (Sabrina) Lium of Emmons, and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Freidel of Monticello; one brother, Don Lium of Bricelyn and sister-in-law, Jean Lium of Bricelyn.
