Darreld Eugene Risk, 78

Black Duck — Darreld Risk, age 78, of Black Duck, formerly of Elmore, died May 10, 2009, in Fargo, N.D. Memorial services were held May 15, 2009, at United Methodist Church in Elmore. Rev. Lora Sturm officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Elmore. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

Darreld was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Ledyard, Iowa, the son of Orville and Esther (Richter) Risk.

Darreld is survived by his daughters: Tamara Lloyd of Apple Valley, Darci (Mike) Blewett of Texas; his brother, Wayne (Joyce) Risk of Elmore; his sister, Ferne (James) More of Blue Earth; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and special friend Barb Wetzell.
