Bricelyn — Darrell C. Ehlert, age 82, of Bricelyn, died May 18, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Funeral services were held May 22, 2009, at the Bricelyn Lutheran Church in Bricelyn. Pastors Edward Nieman and Patricia Hinkie officiated. Burial was in Brush Creek Cemetery, Faribault County. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche Ehlert of Bricelyn; children: Dave (Sherry) Ehlert of Moorhead, Mike Ehlert of Owatonna, Daniel (Cara) Ehlert of Albert Lea, Allan (Victoria) Ehlert of Bricelyn, Joy Diel of Bricelyn; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Anderson of Kiester.
