Mary Reinke, 65

Blue Earth — Mary Reinke, age 65, of Blue Earth, died May 13, 2009, at Lakeview Health Services in Fairmont. A memorial service was held May 16, 2009 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato. These were Mary’s wishes. Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato was in charge of arrangements.

Mary was born April 3, 1944 in St. Paul. She was adopted by Everett and Carol Madetzke on Aug. 10, 1945. Mary grew up in the Rake, Iowa area and graduated from Rake High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to Richard Reinke on Aug. 11, 1963. Mary was a homemaker on the family farm and enjoyed teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She became a nursing assistant and was employed at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Blue Earth until her illness kept her from working.

Mary is survived by her two children, James Reinke and Patricia (Tim) Blom; grandson, Timothy Blom; adoptive family; Brenda, Kurt, Courtney, Abbigail and Noah Otto, Shane, Kris, Tyler, Mariah, Devon and Rayna Brenke; brother, David Madetzke.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents and an infant brother.
