Margaret Mae Hill, 85

Winnebago — Margaret Mae Hill, age 85, of Shoreview died June 9, 2009, at the Pillars in Oakdale. Memorial services were held June 14, 2009, at Central Baptist Church in St. Paul. Burial at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Winnebago.

Margaret Mae Hill was born Dec. 3, 1923, in Winnebago, the daughter of Martin J. and Adean (Rightmire) Hill. She attended rural school, District #6, in Faribault County. She graduated from Winnebago High School in 1941; Sioux Falls College in 1946; Internship – School of Medical Technology in Spokane, Wash., in 1947, and attended Bethel College seminary for one year. Margaret was a 35-year Administrative Lab Tech for Midway Hospital in St. Paul.

She became a baptized member of the First Baptist Church in Winnebago during her teen years. Later, became a member of Central Baptist Church in St. Paul where she devoted her time and heart to many ministries.

She is survived by her dear friend, Marilyn Starr of Shoreview; sisters-in-law Edith Hill of Bemidji, Lois Hill-Starker of Rochester, Jean Hill of Argentina and Marjorie Hill of Winnebago; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Lewis, Donald, James and Robert.

Memorials are preferred to: Central Baptist Mission Fund and Trout Lake Camps.
