Paul Francis Malherek, 80

Arlington, Va. — Funeral services were held July 6, 2009, at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, Arlington, Va., for Paul Malherek, 80, of Chantilly, Va., formerly of Granada. He died June 29, 2009. Interment was at Quantico National Cemetery.

Paul was born April 20, 1929, to Peter and Grace Malherek of Granada.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores; children, Patrick (Janet) of La Plata, Md., Kathleen (Sean) McLaurin of Stafford, Va., Mary (Ron) Haffner of Eagle River, Wis., Caroline (Gary) Francis of Clawson, Mich., Joan (Bob) Castle of Chantilly, and John (Julie) of Alexandria, Va., and 20 grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, Sister Joan and Sister Mary Malherek, and Margaret Staudacher.
