Albert Lea — The funeral service for Rosa O. Gonzales of Albert Lea was held July 30, 2009, at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea. Rev. James Berning officiated. Interment was at St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery. Bonnerup Funeral Service helped with the arrangements.

Rosa died July 26, 2009, at her son’s home in Albert Lea. She was 65 years old.

Rosa was born in San Marcos, Texas, on July 7, 1944, the daughter of Willie and Ysabel Olivo. She attended Blue Earth High School, graduating in 1965.

Rosa is survived by her mother, Ysabel Cervantes of Blooming Prairie; children: Jessee (Rebecca) Gonzales of Albert Lea, Roberto Gonzales of Mankato, Maria Gonzales (Steve Pruizner) of Albert Lea, Anita Gonzales of Albert Lea, Willie Gonzales of Albert Lea, Victoria Gonzales (Brad DeBoer) of Hollandale; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers: Paul Olivo, Joe Olivo, David Olivo, Willie Olivo; and sisters: Mary Gonzales, Vicki Olivo, Gloria Alphs and Kathy Martinez.
