Dale Norman Olson, 81

Blue Earth — Dale Olson, age 81, of Blue Earth, died Sept. 2, 2009, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services were held Sept. 5, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Rev. Karl Rydholm officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation was one hour prior to services on Saturday. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago assisted the family with the arrangements.

Dale was born July 13, 1928, in Blue Earth, the son of Harry and Nellie (Mattson) Olson.

Dale is survived by his children: Loren Olson of Winnebago, Larry (fiancé Karen) Olson of Winnebago, Judy (Jim) Jahnke of Blue Earth, Dawn (Tom) Weringa of Elmore, Rhonda (Dennis) Rademaker of Fairmont, Tim (Gloria) of Fairmont and Robin (Bruce) Wubben of Woden, Iowa. Dale is also survived by one sister, 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
