Annette Pauline Eckhardt, 82

Mesa, Ariz. — Memorial services will be held for Annette Eckhardt on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Annette passed away Feb. 27, 2009, at Mesa, Ariz.

Annette was born to John and Grace (Kuhlman) Huisman on Feb. 3, 1927, in Winnebago County, Iowa. She moved with her family in 1935 to Frost and graduated from Frost High School in 1945. After graduation, she worked as a telephone operator. She married Palmer (Pie) Eckhardt in 1949. Annette was employed by the Blue Earth Schools for 25 years. Annette and Pie lived in Blue Earth from 1960 to 1997 when they moved to Mesa.

Annette leaves to mourn her passing, children Larry (Vennie) Eckhardt, Randy Eckhardt, Lori Eckhardt, all of Arizona, and Ron (Kelly) Eckhardt of Utah, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, four sisters, Betty Deuser of Mankato, Darlene Johnson of Bricelyn, Frances Krinkie and Jo Carlson of Blue Earth, and one brother, John (Joan) Huisman of Blue Earth, and many nieces and nephews.
