Barry Wayne Tesch, 53
Elmore — Barry Wayne Tesch was born Nov. 6, 1955, in Blue Earth. His soul soared free from earthly struggles, with his wife by his side, at his home in Elmore on Sept. 14, 2009. A memorial service was held Sept. 17, 2009, at United Methodist Church in Elmore.
Barry was baptized and confirmed at the Elmore United Methodist Church. He graduated from Elmore High School in 1974. He married his best friend Mildi Klinksiek on Feb. 28, 1992. Barry worked hard all his life at various jobs. He was employed at Elmore Truck Accessories for 15 years, then Brand FX Body Company in Swea City, Iowa, for 2 1/2 years, until he was forced to retire due to ill health.
Left behind are his wife Mildi, parents Darold and Evelyn Tesch, siblings Rhonda (Craig) Lloyd, Debbie (Gene) Murphy, mom-in-law Marian Klinksiek, Mildi’s siblings Cyndy (John Sorenson), Shirley (Wayne) Rankin, Marv (Jenny Gray). Also left are six nephews, two nieces, 10 grand-nephews, one grand-niece.
He wished for all of us to remember, but not grieve for him. He joined in heaven his grandparents Murrell and Pearl Clark, Herman and Eva Tesch, his dad-in-law Howard Klinksiek, his brother-in-law Brad Loucks, cousin Tracy Tesch, Uncle Dean Tesch, many other relatives and friends.
He enjoyed his life, marveled at the every day miracle of a sunset, spring flowers, a loon’s call across the water, eagles in flight. He loved time spent with family and friends, fishing, gardening and more fishing. His was a mischievous, gentle and courageous spirit. Smile when you remember him. He would ask for nothing more.
