Thelma C. Cooan, 90

Elmore — Thelma Clarine Cooan, age 90, of Elmore, died Feb. 1, 2010, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth.

Funeral services were held Feb. 6, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Elmore United Methodist Church.

Rev. Wane Souhrada officiated.

Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore.

Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

Thelma was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Rake, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Hannah (Johnson) Espeland.

Thelma is survived by her sons, Ronald (Janet) Cooan, of Murrieta, Calif., and Richard (Galina) Cooan, of Greer, S.C., sisters, Charlotte Olson, of Huntley and Betty (Charles) Lutz, of Shell Lake, Wis., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
