Cleo M. Dulac, 64
Owatonna — Cleo Marie Dulac, age 64, of Owatonna, died peacefully Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Homestead Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services were held May 7, 2010, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Rosenau officiated. Interment was in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens, in Owatonna.
She was born April 6, 1946, in Mahnomen, the daughter of Richard and Corrine (Newman) Klepetka. Cleo graduated from Medford High School. She married Richard Dulac in November of 1965. The couple lived in Faribault before moving to Owatonna in 1970 and they were later divorced. Cleo provided daycare for children in Owatonna for 38 years.
She was an avid Vikings fan. Cleo enjoyed trips to the casino, playing Farmville on Facebook, playing bingo and cards, snowmobiling, and fishing. She was an excellent cook and baker, known for her fudge and homemade pies. Her family was very important to her. She frequented all of her grandchildren’s events.
Cleo is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Earl) Pleschourt, of Medford, Shawn (Scott) Pierce, of Owatonna; son, Shane (Krista) Dulac, of Blue Earth; grandchildren, Brittany, Breea, Blake, Ashley, Alisha, Calvin, Christopher, Caelan, Madison; mother, Corrine Klepetka, of Medford; brother, Richard “Sonny” (Sandy) Klepetka, of Danbury, Wis.; sister, Ruth (Dale) Sam, of Faribault.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Klepetka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to “The Family of Cleo Dulac” to be divided amongst their charities of choice at a later date.
Michaelson Funeral Homes, Inc., in Owatonna, assisted the family with the arrangements.
