Winnebago Candelario G. “Cande” Lopez, age 58, of Winnebago, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at United Hospital in Blue Earth.

Mass of Christian Burial is being held Monday, July 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnebago, with Rev. Leo Koppala officiating. Burial is in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago. Visitation time is one hour prior to services at the church.

Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Candelario was born April 1, 1954, at Lubbock, Texas, the son of Geronimo and Ynocencia (Garcia) Lopez.

Candelario G. “Cande” Lopez is survived by his wife, Esther Lopez, of Winnebago; son, Jerome (Elizabeth) Lopez, of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; daughters, April Lopez (David Enriquez), of Blue Earth, Manuela Lopez (D.J. Otto), of Blue Earth, and Candice Lopez, of Winnebago; sisters, Maria Barraza, Fances Rodriquez, Margaret Montoya, Ramona Salazar, Josie Lopez-Rodriquez, and Andrea Lopez; brothers, Julian Acosta, Geronimo Lopez, Jr., Jesse Lopez, Guadalupe Lopez, Ramon Lopez, and Isidro Lopez; and seven grandchildren.
