Marguerite M. Mondahl

Minnesota Lake Marguerite Marie Mondahl, age 70, of Minnesota Lake, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Mankato Hospital.

Funeral Services, officiated by Rev. Mathews, were held July 23, 2012, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Danville Township. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells was in charge of arrangements.

Marguerite was born June 22, 1942, in Blue Earth, to Bernard and Lorena (Wilke) Kriewall. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1960. She married Bruce Mondahl on Aug. 5, 1962, in Blue Earth. She has been a resident of Minnesota Lake for the last 45 years. She recently retired from Choice Connection. She was a faithful and active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.?Her favorite pastime was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing and rug weaving. Marguerite was always known to help and care for others and put everyone else’s needs before her own.

Marguerite is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Minnesota Lake; daughters, Kristine (Paul)?Stavne, of Grantsburg, Wis., Julie (Charles) Probach, of Stewartville, and Kathleen (Kevin) Cole, of Huxley, Iowa; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Lauren and Erin Stavne; Brianna, Noah and Emma Probach; and Gabrielle and Hailey Cole; siblings, Duane Kriewall, of Burnsville and Lorraine (Michael) Arends, of?Blue Earth; sisters-in-law, Nina Kriewall, of Arnold’s Park, Iowa, and Mary Kriewall, of Winnebago; brothers-in-law Roger (Pat) Mondahl, of McMinnville, Ore., and Robert (Alice) Lembke, of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews and their families; and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fritz and Roger Kriewall; sisters-in-law, Darlene Kriewall and Janet Lembke; and nephews, Rick Kriewall, Danny Lembke, and Scott Mondahl.
