Roger D. Sandum, 68

Blue Earth Roger Sandum, age 68, of Blue Earth, passed away Sunday,?Sept. 16, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic in Fairmont.

A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2012, at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth. The Rev. Janet Crissinger-Clark officiated. Visitation was one hour prior to the service. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Jacobsen & Winter Funeral Home in Blue Earth assisted the family with the arrangements.

Roger Dale Sandum was born Sept. 2, 1944, to Thorvald and Effie (Johnson) Sandum in Fairmont.

On Nov. 19, 1962, Roger married Donna Spencer and to this blessed union a son was born.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna, of Blue Earth; son, Daren, of Murrieta, Calif.; grandson, Brett, of Murrieta; sister, Roselyn (Rodger) Bubendorf; brothers-in-law, Dale Spencer (friend, Donna), of Stone Lake, Wis., and Douglas (Judy) Spencer, of Elmore.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Darwin Spencer.
