Alan W. Hearn

Elmore Alan Hearn age 30, of Elmore, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Funeral services were held Nov. 5, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Elmore. The Rev. Art Keith officiated. Burial was in Olena Mound Cemetery in Buffalo Center, Iowa. Jacobsen &?Winter Funeral Home in Blue Earth was in charge of the arrangements.

Alan William Hearn was born Nov. 5, 1981, in Fairmont, to Michael and JoAnn Hearn. The youngest child of three, Alan grew up in Elmore. He attended elementary school in Elmore and graduated from Blue Earth Area High School in 2000. He was confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Elmore.

After graduating high school, he did mechanic work and odd jobs around the area. Recently, he was attending Minnesota West Community & Technical College to become an electrician. Alan enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycle, fixing cars and having fun. He was a great friend to all.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Michael and JoAnn Hearn of Elmore; brother Adam (Stacy) of Guckeen; sister April of St. Louis Park as well as many other close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
