Dale E. Putrah

Faribault Dale Eugene Putrah, longtime resident of Faribault, passed away at home surrounded by his family from complications surrounding an extended illness on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the age of 85. After serving in the U.S. Navy in World War II and spending time as a teacher and principal, Dale, along and his wife Kathleen, launched a successful business career in the communications industry leading to what is today KGP Logistics and BlueStream Professional Services.

He was preceded in death by his son Mark, and his parents, Phil and Mable Putrah.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of Faribault along with his children; Dale Jr. (Linda), of Burnsville, Susan (Jon) Aswegan, of Apply Valley, Rick (Cindi) Putrah, of Faribault, Tim (Julie) Putrah, of Faribault, Trevor (Caren) Putrah, of Faribault and Megan (Bernie) VonRuden, of Lakeville; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 25, 2013, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Faribault. Arrangements were completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

The family kindly requests that any donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or Shriners Hospital for Children.
