Evelyn Ferley, 95

Elmore Evelyn Ferney, age 95, of Elmore, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center.

Funeral Services were held Jan. 21, 2013, at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore. The Rev. Robert Roettger officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Hampden, N.D., the daughter of Gehard J. and Bernice (Wheeler) Sabin.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Myrna Sorenson, of Kiester; sons, Gaylen (Margo) Ferley, of Mankato, Dennis Ferley, of Mankato, and Dallas (Pam) Ferley, of Eugene, Ore.; brothers, Ralph Sabin, of Albert Lea, and John (Connie) Sabin, of Lake Mills, Iowa; sister-in-law, Gladys Neidlinger, of Cando, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
