Blue Earth Dorotha E. Schavey, age 94, of Blue Earth, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center.

Funeral Services were held on Feb. 26, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Emerald Township. The Rev. Wesley Hafner officiated. Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 5, 1918, at Silver Lake Township, in Martin County, the daughter of Byron and Ada (Bartlett) Wagar.

Dorotha is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Norm) Wille, of Red Wing; sons, Paul (Mary) Schavey, of Blue Earth, Dan (Paula) Schavey, of Blue Earth, and Glen Schavey, of Mankato; brother, John (Nancy) Wagar, of Fairmont; sister, Geneva Wood, of Granada; brother-in-law, Russell (Delores) Schavey, of Blue Earth; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
