Carleen M. Helland, 84

Austin Carleen Mae Helland, age 84, of Austin, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at her home.

Funeral Services were held May 31, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. The Rev. Jeffrey Forbes officiated. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Carleen was born on Dec. 25, 1928, in Bricelyn, to German and Amanda (Holmseth) Jacobson.

Carleen is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Barry (Carol) Helland, of Aurora, and Michael (Mia) Helland, of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia (Tim) Ball, of Austin; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Clasen-Jordan Mortuary, in Austin, was in charge of arrangements.
