Winnebago Lori Ann (Royce) Johnsrud, age 50, of Winnebago, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Mankato. Lori attended Jackson Lake Lutheran Church, ELCA, of Amboy. To accommodate all who wish to attend her memorial services, we will be using the facility at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago for the memorial services that are scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Todd Substad officiating. Visitation time will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5th, 2013, at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago.

Lori was born April 15, 1963, in Winnebago, the daughter of Chuck and Joyce (Hall) Royce. She was raised and educated in Winnebago where she was a 1981 graduate of Winnebago High School. She had worked at the Dairy Queen in Winnebago since she was 14 years old and continued after high school. She was married to Duane A. Johnsrud on Feb. 15, 1986, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago. The couple lived in Texas for a couple of years before returning to Winnebago to raise their children. Lori had worked at Telex in Blue Earth for several years before working at EDI after Telex closed. She was forced to stop working in the spring of 2012 for health reasons. Lori enjoyed scrapbooking and many crafts. She also enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning produce, fishing and camping at Daly Park at Lura Lake.

Lori is survived by her husband, Duane Johnsrud, of Winnebago; her sons, David (Amanda), Tyler (Corin), and Dylan (Sam) Johnsrud, all of Winnebago. She is also survived by her parents, Chuck and Joyce Royce, of Winnebago; sister, Shawn Marie (Dave) Jacobson, of Winnebago; her nephew, Logan Jacobson, of Winnebago; and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
