Winifred R. Shure, 100

Mankato Winifred R. Shure, age 100, of Mankato, formerly of Frost, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Pathstone Crossing Care Center in Mankato.

Funeral Services were held June 25, 2013, at United Lutheran Church in Frost. The Rev. Arne Halbakken officiated. Burial was in United Lutheran Cemetery, Frost.

Winnie was born May 13, 1913, in Frost, the daughter of Henry and Martha (Lee) Hovland.

Winifred R. Shure is survived by her sons, Roger (Connie) Shure, of Blue Earth, and Robert (Lori) Shure, of Madison Lake; daughter-in-law, Sandra Shure, of Blue Earth; sister, Mina Plath, of Austin; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations are preferred to United Lutheran Church or United Hands Hospice.
