Eagle Lake Susan Diaz, age 60, of Eagle Lake, formerly of Winnebago, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her home.

A Memorial Service was held July 10, 2013, at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. The Rev. John Michel officiated. Burial was in Basey Methodist Cemetery, Winnebago.

She was born March 14, 1953, at Winnebago, the daughter of Orville and Dorothy (Emery) Petersen.

She is survived by her brother, James Petersen, of Albert Lea; sisters, Lucille Edwards, of St. Paul, Marsha (Rodney) Anderson, of Blue Earth, Janet (Edward) Patterson, of Delavan, Mary Mealman, of Estherville, Iowa, and Carol (Sam) Armstrong, of Mankato; sisters-in-law, Hazel Petersen, of Bricelyn, Peggy (Joe) Petersen-Stimpert, and Kita Petersen, of New Ulm; stepdaughters, Barb (Jeff) Roessler, of Winnebago, and Brenda (Wally) Baxton, of River Falls, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
