Denise M. Heenan, 49

Blue Earth Denise Mae Heenan, age 49, of Blue Earth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at United Hospital in Blue Earth.

Services were held Sept. 19, 2013, at Patton Funeral Home.

Denise was born Feb. 11, 1964, to Dennis and Janice (LaMont) Heenan, in St. Paul. She grew up in Minnesota, and attended Blue Earth School.

Denise lived in Arnold’s Park, Iowa, and later Pipestone. She spent many years bartending and doing factory work. She later lived in New Mexico, where her father enjoyed visiting her when he could. She most recently moved back to Blue Earth to be near her grandchildren.

Denise is survived by her daughter, Kandice Heenan, and her children, Amelia and Dennis Guerrin, of Blue Earth; mother, Janice Heenan, of Blue Earth; brothers, Michael (Deb) Heenan, and their children,, Josh and Emily, of Elmore, Mark (Kristen) Heenan, and their children, Michael, Aaron, and Matthew, of Blue Earth, and Todd (Bridgette) Heenan, and their children, Chantae, Brittany, and Tyler, of Blue Earth; and five great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Heenan; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Denise enjoyed fishing, attending concerts, cooking, and traveling. She loved animals, spending time with friends and family, and especially spoiling her grandkids. She will be remembered for her love of life and her exuberant laughter.
