Gary Irons, 68

Buffalo Center, Iowa Gary Irons, age 68, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, passed away Oct. 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa. Memorial Services were held Oct. 7, 2013, at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, Iowa. The Rev. Herb Kenyon officiated. Inurnment was in West Cemetery, in Rake.

Gary was born Feb. 23, 1945, to Hjalmer and Bertha (Badje) Irons in Swea City, Iowa. On Oct. 8, he married Bonnie Beckus at the First Presbyterian Church in Blue?Earth.

Gary worked very hard and enjoyed farming for many years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; son, Gary Jr. (Nancy); daughter, Tracey Eyanson (fianc Tim Mattison); grandchildren,?Brooke, Bridget, Thomas, Jesse, Rhiannon and Jackson; great-grandchild, Breyleigh; sister, Linda (Robert) Hofmann; and brothers, Eugene (Sharon), and John (Karen).

He is preceded in death by his father; infant sister; and brother, Jerry.

Winter Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Buffalo Center assisted the family with the arrangements.
