Vivian B. Laue, 94
Blue Earth Vivian Bernice Laue, age 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Wesley Hafner officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday Oct. 13 at Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Sept. 9, 1920, at Randolph, Neb., the daughter of Oscar and Bessie (Collier) Coulter. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1937. On April 18, 1954 she married Cord William Arthur Laue at St Paul Lutheran in Blue Earth.
She was active for years with the ladies aide at the church, the senior center in Blue Earth, and enjoyed traveling to watch her beloved Minnesota Twins with family every summer.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Paul, of Blue Earth, Kathy (Alan “Oop”) Johnson, of Delavan; grandson, Eric Paul of Portland, Ore.; granddaughters, Andrea Johnson, of Waconia, Krista (Jason Appel) Johnson, of Mapleton, Alicia Johnson, of Brookings, S.D.; great?grandson, Marley Paul; great?granddaughter, Emma Appel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Evelyn Meyer, and her parents.
