Donald A. Vanderford, 85

Fairmont Donald “Don” A. Vanderford, age 85, of Fairmont, formerly of Elmore, died Monday, May 18, 2015, in the Lutz Wing at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, the Rev. Robert Roettger officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore.

He was born May 21, 1929, at Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Gordon and Emelia (Ihle) Vanderford.

He is survived by his brothers, Duane (Fern) Vanderford, of Blue Earth, Darold (Arleen) Vanderford, of Fairmont, many nieces and nephews.
