He loved to play the guitar and played the Jimi Hendrix National Anthem before the demolition derby in Blue Earth and had the opportunity to jam out with the band at his Great Uncle John’s wedding. He had one acoustic guitar and four electric guitars that he learned to play with very few lessons. Adrian was also self-taught on the piano. He loved his dog Blue and his snakes and lizard. He enjoyed bringing his nieces to the park where he would push them on the swings. He also played music with them and gave them each a guitar pick. He started going to Brainerd National Raceway with his dad and continued going after his dad’s death.
Adrian remained independent despite being diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosis at age four which caused night blindness and tunnel vision. He lived an independent life, working in his mom’s restaurant washing dishes. He was able to make his way around without difficulty, even walking around the town of Frost with no problems.
