Liam Oslin

Mora Liam Christian Oslin, the son of Josh and Dana Oslin, of Mora, passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, with his family by his side. Liam lived sixty-four minutes which the family will cherish that brief time together forever.

Liam was born at 5:21 a.m. on March 11, 2016. He was diagnosed with Potter’s Syndrome at 20 weeks’ gestation during a routine ultrasound. Potter’s Syndrome is a rare condition that affects the growth of the kidneys and therefore refers to the decrease in, or lack of amniotic fluid that surrounds the fetus and protects it. Josh and Dana were told of the imminent outcome of this diagnosis but chose to let their baby continue to grow and be with their family to full-term.

He is survived by his parents, Josh and Dana, of Mora; his big brothers, Warner and Hendrik, of Mora; grandparents, Ann Hanna, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Dave (Kim Volz) Goeke, of Elmore, and Gary and Kim Oslin, of Mora; great-grandparents Elaine Goeke, of Elmore, and Harold and Joan Oslin, of Mora; as well as many aunts uncles and cousins.

Liam was proceeded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Harry and Evelyn Scott, Theodore Goeke; paternal great-grandparent, Kay Berry; aunts, Darlene Lyon, and Cindy Kockler; uncles, Mark Goeke, Robert Scott, Ronald Scott, and Donald Scott.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Mora, the Rev. Mike Herzog officiated. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery.
