Sanford E. Egesdal, 82

Minneapolis Sanford E. Egesdal of Minneapolis, died Oct. 3, 2016 among family. He was born in Elmore on Sept. 17, 1934, attended Augsburg College, Minneapolis. Sanford served in U.S. Army Signal Corps as Sergeant, earned his BEE at University of Minnesota. He worked for Honeywell 43 years, then ran his consulting firm until three weeks before his death.

He is survived by his sister, Karen (Gordy) Trelstad, brother, Elden (Belinda), sister, Miriam, sons Paul (Karen), Steve (Flo), Daniel (Alicia) and Tim, 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels at the Eden Prairie Chapel location assisted the family.
