Larry D. Hoppe, 71
Trenton, Missouri Larry D. Hoppe, age 71, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died Friday Morning Nov. 11, 2016 at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Trenton, Pastor John Fries officiated. Burial was in Edinburg Cemetery west of Trenton.
Mr. Larry D. Hoppe was born Nov. 25, 1944, at Mankato, the son of Arthur L. and Dorothy E. Riekens Hoppe. He graduated from Winnebago High School, then graduated from Bemidji State College, Bemidji and also from DunnWoody Institute, Minneapolis.
He was a life time member of I.O.O.F. Lodge of Winnebago, also an Eagle Scout and was awarded the Carnegie Metal Of Honor. Before retiring was a independent truck driver.
On July 30, 1966 he was married to Diana Marie Palmer at Winnebago.
His survivors include his wife, Diana of the home, two daughters, Ann (Cory) Burchett and Katelyn Hoppe, all of Trenton; one son, David (Kathy) Hoppe, of Greentop, Missouri, his mother Dorothy Hoppe, of Winnebago; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Patricia Ludwig, of West Bend, Iowa, Donna (Bruce) Ringler, of Winnebago, and Phyllis Hoppe, of Winnebago; one brother, Ronald (Rebecca) Hoppe, of Delavan.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Kenneth Lee Hoppe.
