Nola M. Brayton

Winnebago Nola Magdalen Brayton, much beloved, our beacon and anchor for six generations. She was a woman of deep, abiding faith in Jesus with humble, strong love for family and neighbor.

She was born May 16, 1920 in Ledyard, Iowa to Mandis and Anna Lloyd (Dillon). She entered her eternal home on Dec.26, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents; young brother, Merlyn; her sister, Annabelle; her husbands, Frank Claude Sr. and Elmer Brayton; her daughter, Shannon; grandchildren, Kimberly Wiederholt and RJ Wiederholt; great-grandson, baby Lance.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Berg; her children, Sharon (Maurice) Walker, Candice (Jeffrey) Kleinbeck, Frank Jr. (Kathi) Claude; 14 great- grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial gifts can be directed to Missions at Grace Church in Eden Prairie.

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Bertas Funeral Home, in Chaska. The inurnment will be held at a later date at Rice Lake Cemetery in Delavan.

Funeral arrangements were with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska.
