John (Jack) Robertson, 86

Winnebago A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 for John (Jack) Robertson. Jack died peacefully on Dec. 28, 2016. The service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Winnebago. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the church.

Jack and his twin brother, Jim, were born in Winnebago on March 7, 1931. He attended school in Huntley. He also attended college at the University of Minnesota Ag school in Minneapolis.

Jack was married to Diana Sinn on June 21, 1952. He farmed all his life, retiring at the age of 80. He enjoyed the farming life style. He and Diana were able to spend several years at the lake home of their daughter Denise. He loved to fish and spend time with friends and family while there.

Surviving are his wife, Diana; children, Darrel, of Winnebago, Dean (Jackie), of Bemidji, Denise, of Rochester, David (Roxanne, of Florida; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Preceding him in death were his parents, Floyd and Kelly Robertson; brothers, Jim and Bill and nephew, Michael.
