Cottage Grove Alvin James Martin, age 83, of Cottage Grove, owner of A & F Auto, passed away Nov. 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.

Alvin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; children, Ruth Scott, Julianne (Julian Cordova) Scott, James Martin, Christine (LeRoy Taylor) Martin; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, five brothers and many nieces and nephews.
