Winnebago Services will be held at a later date for Audrey J. Slama, 86, of Winnebago. Audrey passed away Friday afternoon, Jan. 19, 2018, at Autumn Grace in Mankato. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Audrey Joan Slama was born on Nov. 2, 1931 in Prescott, Wisconsin to Rudolph and Beryl (Paige) Frank. She attended Winnebago School and graduated with the Class of 1949.
On Nov. 10, 1951, Audrey was united in marriage to Maurice Slama at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnebago. After their marriage, Audrey and Maurice made their home in rural Winnebago. Audrey kept busy at home as a housewife.
Audrey was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnebago. She was also a member of the Bridge Club and Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bridge and volunteering at the local museum.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Schultz, of Truman, Kathleen Garry, of Houston, Texas, Anne Bernard, of Stillwater and Susan Findley, of Fairmont; son, Brian Slama of Winnebago; nine grandchildren; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice Slama; and son, Michael Slama.
