Lucille D. Sorenson, 90

Mapleton Lucille Dorothy Sorenson, age 90, passed away on Feb. 13, 2018, at the Mapleton Community Home.

Memorial services were held on 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church in Amboy, Rev. Todd Substad officiated. Inurnment was in Jackson Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Amboy. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home of Winnebago assisted the family with the arrangements.

Lucille was born Dec. 30, 1927 in Shelby Township to the late Erwin and Ella (Ulrich) Boeck.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Gladys Wolters, of Belmond, Iowa; daughters, Sharon (Mark) Peck, of Apple Valley, and Diane (Don) Erickson, of Bel Air, Maryland; son, Michael Sorenson, of Mankato; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
