Gordon Dumdei, 96

Blue Earth – Gordon Dumdei, 96 year old resident of Blue Earth and formerly of both Waseca and Janesville died peacefully Friday morning, April 13, 2018 at United Hospital District in Blue Earth.

Funeral Service was on Thursday, April 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, Rev. Larry Griffin and Rev. Paul Muther officiated. Interment was in Smiths Mill Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.

Gordon Dumdei was born Aug. 26, 1921 in McPherson Township, Blue Earth County, to Frank and Augusta (Sievert) Dumdei. He married LaJune Ziemke on Feb. 19, 1944, after her death Gordon married Ella Stubbs, Sept. 17, 1988.

Gordon was survived by his children, Darla Hansen, Donna (Marlin) Krupp; three step-children, Neal (Deborah) Stubbs, Wayne Stubbs and Cheryl (Harold) Lovell, three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Marvin Dumdei and Ruth Locke; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
