Fern E. Campbell

Blue Earth – Fern Edna Campbell, age 92, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, May 20, 2018, at The Lodge at Deadwood, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com

Fern was born May 6, 1926, at Barber Township, the daughter of Albert and Cecil (Halvorson) Egeness. She graduated from Frost High School in 1944. She was married to Eldon D. Campbell on Oct. 13, 1945 in Frost.

Fern was an active member with the First United Methodist Church Circle for many years and was also active with the American Legion Auxiliary.

Fern is survived by her sons, Bradley (Bernita) Campbell, of Wheatland, Wyoming, Scott (Mickie) Campbell, of Blue Earth, Jeffrey (Vickie) Campbell, of Blue Earth, Terry (Melissa) Campbell, of Blue Earth, former daughter-in-law, Linda Meyn, of Tampa, Florida, 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Arlene Egeness, and brother, Arden Egeness.

Memorials can be made in Fern’s name to the Faribault County Humane Society or Hope United Methodist Church.
