Nathan S. Wander, 24
Elmore – Nathan Swen Wander, age 24, of Elmore, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Elmore United Methodist Church (311 Mondale St. Elmore, MN) Rev. Mark Brickzin presided. Nathan was born on April 29, 1994 to John and Sharon (Garvick) Wander. He graduated from GHEC High school in 2013. Nathan enjoyed being a member of the “Wander Wall” in football. Nathan worked for Darling International in Blue Earth.
Nathan loved the outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to trap, hunt, fish, mudding and riding his Harley and ATV. Nathan had a creative personality and was very mechanically inclined. In his spare time, he welded his own trap stakes and birdhouse hangers.
Nathan had a fun and outgoing personality. He was a practical joker and loved pulling pranks on everyone. When he was not being a prankster, Nathan was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Nathan is survived by his parents, John and Sharon (Garvick) Wander; brothers, Travis Wander and Jared Wander and many other loving relatives and friends.
Nathan is preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas Wander; grandparents, Marvin and Geneva Garvick, Gene and Margaret Wander, and Gale Clay Jr.; cousin, Riley Garvick; and uncle, Allen Garvick.
