Blue Earth – Services were held for Janelle K. Armon, age 58, of Fairmont. Janelle passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, 2018 at the United Hospital District in Blue Earth.
Janelle Kay Harris was born May 7, 1960 in Minneapolis, the daughter of James and Judith (Thielhorn) Harris. Growing up she attended school in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Minnesota. Janelle attended and graduated from Granada Huntley High School. Following her high school graduation she attended cosmetology school in Fairmont.
In 1982, Janelle was united in marriage to Richard Armon. This union was blessed with one daughter, Kendra. Janelle lived in Chaska, before moving to Huntley. In 2002, she moved to Florida where she spent a few years before coming back to Minnesota where she made her home in Fairmont. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time with her friend, Tim, going camping and fishing.
Janelle worked as a hairstylist, as well as running her own house cleaning business. She was a member of the Butterfield Threshermen’s Association. Janelle enjoyed spending time outdoors and always loved gardening and flowers. She had a soft spot in her heart for cats and dogs. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, “Monkey.”
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kendra Weringa, and her husband, Tyler, of Huntley; grandson, Aiden; special friend, Tim Crosby, of Delavan; parents, Jim and Judy Harris, of Fairmont; sisters, Jill Droegemueller, of Truman and Jeannie Harris Schmars, of Morristown; several nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chris and Mary Thielhorn and Mary and Irvin Harris and aunt and uncles, Eugene Harris and Russ (Maggie) Harris.
