Mapleton Randy Lee Sandt, age 65, of Mapleton, died on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

A celebration of life gathering was held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 454, Kiester.

Randy Lee, the son of Donald and Lois (Proctor) Sandt, was born on Jan. 14, 1953 in Iowa. He graduated from Kiester High School. Randy was previously employed by Swift Eckrich, of Wells and Golden Oval, of Thompson, Iowa. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, gardening, hunting, watching sports, and NASCAR. To all his family and friends, Randy was known at The Crow.

He is survived by his children, Adam Sandt, of Kiester and Desiree Sandt, of Mankato; two grandchildren, Elijah and Sydney Haugland; siblings, Mary Harmdierks, of Truman, Jim Sandt, of Kiester and Michael Sandt, of Kiester; and the mother of his children, Shirley Sandt, of Wells.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Rick Sandt.
