Blue Earth Thomas Duane Gerberding, age 72, of Blue Earth, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his home in Blue Earth.

Tom was born May 22, 1946, in Blue Earth, the son of Henry and Lucille (Mino) Gerberding. He graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1964. After high school he enlisted in the United States Navy from 1965-1969.

Tom is survived by his children, Tammie (Troy King) Gerberding, of Sparks, Nevada, Tabitha Gerberding, of Sparks, Nevada, Thomas (Magdalena Villegas) Gerberding, of Hollister, California; mother, Lucille Gerberding, of Blue Earth; brothers, Ronald (Nancy) Gerberding, of Park Rapids, Robert (Tammy) Gerberding, of Corpus Christi, Texas, sisters, Kathryn Haase, of Mesa, Arizona, Debra (Mark) Tagatz, of Woodbury, five grandchildren; step-daughter, Shannon (Craig) Moynahan-Ponkey, of Los Gatos, California, step-son, Jeffrey Brendecke, of Germany, seven step-grandchildren; two step-great- grandchildren; step-son-in-law, Paul Zari, of Rancho Cordova, California.
