Chris Uecker

Blue Earth Christopher Paul Uecker, 38, of Blue Earth, passed on late Easter evening at United Hospital District in Blue Earth. A memorial service will be held Aug. 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. outside at the Faribault County Fairgrounds (near Hope United Methodist food stand), with Pastor Lee Miller officiating, followed by a meal. A graveside memorial will be held proceeding meal at Rice Lake Cemetery at 3 p.m. A private burial was held at an earlier date.

Chris was born March 24, 1982 to Mavis Scheid and David Uecker. Chris graduated from Blue Earth Area High School in 2000. He married Gwen Stauffer in 2003.

He is survived by his daughters, Brandi and Elizabeth Uecker; parents, Mavis Scheid and Steven Scheid, and David (Julie) Uecker; siblings, Nicholas (Crystal) Uecker, Megan (Aron) Goshorn, Nathan (BreAnne) Scheid, KayLynn (Jarin) Smith, and Travis Uecker; grandmother, Mildred Rettman.
