Easton – Vernon Norbert “Vern” Heise, age 71, of Easton died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago, Pastor Darren Scruggs officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Easton, at a later date, with military honors. Public visitation Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, from 2-5 p.m., face masks and social distancing observed. Vern is survived by his wife, Gayle Heise, of Easton; Chad (Kari) Colby, of Waconia, John Heise (fiancé Sarah Herfendal), of Alden, Krystle (Brandon) Wood, of Minneapolis,; four grandchildren; brother Don Heise, of Easton; and extended family.
