Holly Frank

Blue Earth – Holly Frank, age 83, of Blue Earth passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 unexpectedly at her home, with her children by her side. A memorial service was held Saturday Jan. 16, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Patton Funeral Home, Rev. Matthew Lorfeld officiated. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery.

Holly was born to Albert and Hazelle (Bittrick) Siegrist, Sept. 17, 1937 in Anoka County. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from high school in 1955. She became a licensed beautician in 1956 and got her first job in Elmore where she met and married Alvin Frank in 1957. Together they had four children, three girls and one boy.

Holly was a stay at home mom until 1974 when she returned to hairdressing part-time. She worked for Franke’s beauty salon until 1977. At that time the salon was sold and became Krosch’s Kut & Kurl where she continued to enjoy employment until 1995. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #89 in Blue Earth. She was always willing to help out at the church when needed. She enjoyed golfing, crocheting, many winters in Bullhead City, Arizona with her husband Al and spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish such wonderful memories are her children, Cathy Frank, Cari Frank, Pauli Frank and Steve (Kim) Frank; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as other extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al, granddaughter, Jenna Frank and grandson, Robert Standing.
