Randon ‘Randy’ Foster, 65

Fairmont/Winnebago – Randon “Randy” Foster, age 65, of Fairmont and formerly Winnebago, passed away at his home Thursday, March 11, 2021. A private family memorial service will be held Monday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago with visitation one hour before the service. Rev. Dan Foster will officiate. Randon Warren Foster was born Aug. 27, 1955 to Warren and Ruth (Frankum) Foster in Winnebago. He was the middle child of five. Randy was very active in school, he participated in school plays, choir and other group activities. After high school he traveled to Canada to attend a Bible college. He then returned home was employed at Weigh-Tronix for over 30 years.

Randy was a quiet yet adventurous man, he enjoyed fishing and traveling. It was on his “bucket list” to one day sky dive. He and his nephew Ryan had it all planned out to go in April but unfortunately, that will be one thing he didn’t get crossed off his list. Family and God were also very important to him.

Left to cherish such fond memories are his siblings, Richard (Rick) Foster and Cheryle Kelly; his nieces and nephews, Travis Foster, Steven Foster, Warren Foster, Brian Guy, Ryan Kelly, Chad (Holly Holmbo) Kelly and Amber Smith; sister-in-law, Deb Foster; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tim and Mike; nieces, Angie Foster and Jamie Foster; and brother-in-law, Pat Kelly.
